Exhibition Models

Bigto was commissioned to produce a set of highly detailed exhibition-standard appearance models to be exhibited by Disney at the Las Vegas Consumer Electronics Show.

The data supplied consisted of basic Industrial Design CAD surfaces. These were further refined to allow the main component parts to be machined using our in-house CNC facility.

Although timescales were extremely tight, we were able to engineer some of the hinges and articulated features into the models so that they could reach their full potential and be demonstrated to prospective customers.

A dedicated attention to fine detail was essential to deliver the crisp, multi-textured surface finish demanded of such jewel-like designs.
