Semi-Automated Production Jigs

R A Labone and Co. Ltd., manufacturers of precision components for the automotive and medical sectors, required production jigs to assist in the assembly of components for the Range Rover Evoque. This project required semi-automated jigs which would meet the very high quality control demands of the car industry.

CAD surfaces provided by the client aided the rapid design of a pneumatic clamping system to meet the forthcoming production deadline.

We find that this type of semi-automation improves assembly times, reduces operator fatigue and improves quality for our customers.
